Reading the values directly in the column or along the line in a chart is usually helpful to get a quick overview. But what if the diagram contains so much data that the labels with the values do not meet their purpose anymore?
Depending on the diagram type, the "datamarkers" are activated or deactivated by default. You can change this setting by yourself.
It is possible to remove the numerical values in every type of chart. For example the values along the line in a spline chart.
This setting is set by the definition
showdatamarker=true; - for "on" and
showdatamarker=true; - for "off".
Currently you have to do this in the "Advanced" configuration of the chart editor. We are working on improving this step.
- Open the Chart editor.
- Navigate to the tab "Advanced".
- Add the definition
- Confirm the changes by clicking on the check mark.
Insert the corresponding definition into the raw definitions. Make sure that definitions are separated with a ; and that the last definition ends with a ;
Please note that the chart preview in the portal does not display this setting. Check your changes directly in your app on the device.
